The Barbra Schlifer Commemorative Clinic and WHIWH CHC are partnering to offer a legal information workshop series for women and gender-diverse people working in the hospitality and service industry who are experiencing or at risk of experiencing sexual harassment in the workplace. The workshop is open to everyone, particularly those who are either precariously employed or who have precarious immigration status.
Participants will learn:
What their rights are in the workplace and the legal responsibilities of employers
Resources and support available to those experiencing sexual harassment
How to negotiate with employers on your rights in difficult work environments
