Ian Somerhalder Says That He Learned About Sex By Spying His Older Brother While He Had Girls Over

Vampire Diaries star Ian Somerhalder talks about his sex life in a new interview with Andy Cohen.He says that he first has sex when he was 13, and learned about it by spying on his older brother.

Today in 'news that you'll probably wish you never read,' Vampire Diaries star Ian Somerhalder opened up about how he learned about sex by spying on his older brother's sex life. Earlier this week, during an interview on Radio Andy with Andy Cohen, Ian talked about his sex life, sharing that he was 13 years old when he had sex for the first time with a 16-year-old. Ian also talked about how he learned about sex, saying:

I had an older brother. My brother was seven years older than me, so he taught me a lot. And he was quite a Cassanova...and he used to have girls in his bedroom all the time. And what I did was, I went in the bottom corner of his window, and I pinched the Venetian blinds down, so I had a clear view, and then when he'd have girls over I would run outside and I would watch. And I learned a lot.

Oh, but that's not all! Ian also adds:

By the way, Louisiana gets cold in the wintertime, it's freezing. So I would go outside, I'd put on all my stuff—my mom would think I was going out to play with the dogs—so I would get some hot chocolate, put on all my clothes, get my mittens up, go outside...we do what we have to do.

And while Ian and Andy kind of laugh about the story and "doing what you have to do" to learn about sex, can we talk about how this was a total violation of his brother and those women's privacy?
