Filmmaker Patricia Bebia Mawa Unveils upcoming debut feature film “The Life Coach.”



The Movie:


The Life Coach follows Gary Johnson, a celebrated thought leader and speaker, who secretly battles mental illness stemming from a traumatic childhood. Seeking solace, he forms an anonymous connection with Lorraine online. As their bond deepens, Lorraine desires to meet Gary in person. When her investigation uncovers Gary's identity, it sets off a media frenzy that threatens his career. As Gary tries to find healing and self-acceptance, he must navigate between Lorraine, his online confidante, and Jennifer, a potential romantic match arranged by his loyal employees. Amidst unexpected turns and rollercoasters of emotions, The Life Coach delves into the power of authentic connections and the strength of the human spirit.


The executive producer



An alumna of Algonquin College of Science and Technology, Patricia Bebia Mawa has directed and produced over 15 television programs, published multiple editions of 3 magazines, and currently hosts Planet Africa on OMNI TV. In 2016, she and her husband launched Afroglobal Television, a 24-hour television channel that is currently on Rogers Cable, Bell Fibe, Eastlink, and Telus across Canada. Listed in the Who’s Who in Black Canada, she is a recipient of the Toronto Police Community Service Award, the International Women Achievers Award, the Martin Luther King DreamKeeper Award, and a Queen’s Diamond Jubilee Medal.


The Cast:

The World Premiere of the movie "The Life Coach' directed by Patricia Bebia Mawa , took place today at the prestigious X hotel, Lake Ontario Waterfront, Toronto.


Many fans that attended the movie premiere said that she did an amazing movie. The movie is educational, family oriented, and most importantly with very vital societal messages, very relatable.

Some Nollywood stars were also in attendance. The stars were very happy with the work Patria and her team did with the movie.

Nigerian-Canadian veteran actor and filmmaker Pascal Atuma said greet things about the movie. And he believes Patricia and build from this moving and keep going to greater heights.




in Patricia's closing remarks, she asked that we all need to be ambassadors for this movie and spread the word because the movie will be coming to cineplex very soon!

For those in New York, 'The Life Couch' film will be showing at the upcoming New York pan-African film festival in November.
